These are two notes I took in discussion about FF Device Coupler preferences at Linkedin Foundation Fieldbus Users Forum:
- Spur distributions will depend on plant layout and quantity of transmitters. Therefore the selection of 4, 6 10 and 12 spur junction box is a matter of design and transmitter locations.
- Some customers don’t prefer junction box with a switchable termination, they prefer separated termination for easily indentification in case of maintenance (specially when it is dark or rainy).
